New Sensation Join DG Music!

Published: 30 Aug 12, 11:43am  |  Author: DG Music

This Brighton based, young and vibrant band, are the latest addition to DG Music. Labelling them-selves as having the, 'perfect balance between youth and experience,' New Sensation are a dynamic lot, with bundles of energy and talent.

The band first met whilst studying at The Brighton Institute of Modern Music, where they discovered a shared passion for performing popular music. They joined forces and haven’t looked back! New Sensation have a wealth of experience as independent musicians and as a band. Lead singer Kate has worked with various bands for many projects, including coaching Coca Cola staff for their Olympic song, written by Mark Ronson and Katy B! Guitarist Paul, is also involved in other bands, including Whistle-blower, who were recently asked to record a song for Sean Bean’s latest film ‘Cleanskin.’ Jake, Marcus and Sam are also up and coming musicians, working as composers, session musicians and performers.

New Sensation have combined musical excellence (learnt from academic training and vocational experience), with a modern feel and creative ideas, to create a truly unique sound. They bring a fresh take on old classics; a particular favourite is their rendition of ‘Must Be Love,’ and ‘Rosanna’….Click here to have a listen!
