The story so far

The band’s debut album, Duw Duw, was released in November 2013 and was recorded with Liam Watson, producer of Elephant by The White Stripes. The band have gigged all around the UK, from the smallest bars and speak-easies to international music festivals with huge audiences. Band members have featured for artists such as Van Morrison, Loudon Wainright, Richard Thompson and Nick Lowe.

Vintage feel

Taking inspiration from the songs of Big Joe Turner, The Band, Hank Williams Sr, Ray Charles, The Carter Family and Clifton Chenier, the band take an old sound – detailed harmonies, accordion, fiddle, double bass and guitar – and make it new. Dressing the part, with their old-timey tunes, they add a special and unique edge to any festival or event.

  1. One of the best bands I've seen

Just about as good as it gets. One of the best bands I’ve ever seen, and over 50+ years, I’ve seen them all

  2. Contagious energy

The foot tappin’, finger snapping blues of Dai & The Ramblers held nothing back… Dancing on the same floor as the stage, the contagious energy in the room is fueled by the performers. With this group in the old theater pub it truly felt like a different time.

  3. Thank you so much

Thank you so much for playing during our wedding ceremony! Many of my friends and family mentioned to me how beautiful your singing was, so I’m sure you’ll have many more bookings coming your way!

  4. Absolutely wonderful

Your singing and playing was absolutely wonderful, and created exactly the right mood during our wedding breakfast. I was very impressed by your professionalism – you dressed the part, set up quickly and efficiently, and made sure that the whole day was stress free.
