How long do party bands & musicians perform?

Evening party bands

Party bands typically perform for a total of 2 hours. This is usually divided into either 2 x 60-minute sets or 3 x 40-minute sets, with the 2 x 60-minute format being the most popular option.

In addition to their live performance, bands often provide a DJ service or playlists during their breaks, ensuring a continuous flow of entertainment. Need longer sets? Many bands offer extended performance times for a small additional fee, so just let us know what you need when making your enquiries.

Acoustic singers and duos

Our solo singer/guitarists and acoustic duos usually offer 2 x 45 or 2 x 50 minute sets over a 2 hour period as standard. However, most musicians are happy to tailor their sets to suit your schedule, so just let us know exactly what you’re after.

Classical musicians

Classical musicians such as harpists, violinists and string quartets offer bespoke packages to suit your schedule. These musicians tend to quote based on their time at the venue, with a minimum booking time of one hour.

If you have a special song in mind that you’d like performed on the day, our Oxfordshire function bands will be happy to oblige. Included as standard, our bands are happy to learn one new song per event – typically for the couple’s first dance.
