Nottinghamshire Bands For Hire

Find the Perfect Nottinghamshire Wedding Band with DG Music

At DG Music, we’ve been helping brides and grooms celebrate their big day for the best part of 20 years. Whether it’s rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B, funk or chart-topping favourites, we have the perfect wedding band to make your big day unforgettable.

Daytime Wedding Entertainment

Looking for wedding musicians for daytime music? Many of our wedding bands in Nottinghamshire offer additional daytime music options, such as solo classical guitarists during the wedding ceremony, acoustic duos and jazz bands for the drinks reception, and piano sets during the wedding breakfast.

By using your evening musicians to cover the rest of your wedding entertainment, you’re not just keeping things smooth and coordinated – you’re also getting more bang for your buck.

DJ service vs Professional DJ

Every party band we work with includes party playlists between sets until midnight to ensure the party atmosphere never goes flat. But if you’re looking for something a little more engaging, consider adding a DJ service to your booking. For an extra fee, a band member can DJ during the evening, taking song requests and reading the crowd.

While DJ sets offer a budget-friendly option, there’s also the option to hire a wedding DJ to work alongside the band. Our DJs bring their own unique flair, ensuring your wedding celebration has the perfect soundtrack from start to finish. Whether you’re after a classic mix or the latest hits, our DJs have the expertise to create an unforgettable atmosphere that complements your chosen band.

What styles of music do your Nottingham bands play?

Whether you’re looking for indie singalongs or epic 80s anthems, you’ll find a band to cover all bases.

Our Nottingham wedding bands and musicians come with a varied repertoire to appeal to guests of every age group, from Motown and classic soul to modern pop and rock.

If you’re after a band that focuses on one particular style of music, you’ll also find a range of rock ‘n’ roll bands, soul bands, reggae bands, Ceilidh bands, and Latin bands to suit your event theme.

Can the band learn our first dance song?

No problem, if you have a special song in mind, just let a member of our team know and we’ll run it past the band to ensure it’s suitable. We recommend requesting your first dance song at least 6 weeks before the big day to ensure they have plenty of time to learn and request your song.

How much does it cost to hire a cover band in Nottinghamshire?

At DG Music, we pride ourselves on providing a diverse array of bands and musicians to fit every budget and event. Whether you’re organising a small get-together or a grand celebration, we have something for everyone.

Singer/guitarists and acoustic duos

For those on a modest budget, we offer a selection of talented solo singer/guitarists and acoustic duos. These smaller acts are perfect for creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere but can also get the party started later on in the evening. Prices for our solo singer/guitarists start from £300, while acoustic duos begin at £450, offering a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality.

3-piece bands

For evening entertainment, a 3-piece function band could be exactly what you need. Our trios typically include vocals, guitars, bass, and drums, providing a fuller sound suitable for dancing. Starting at around £1000, these bands are a great middle-ground option, offering a lively and engaging performance.

4-piece bands

For those looking for a bit more impact, our popular 4-piece bands start at £1250. These bands often include additional instruments like keyboards or extra guitars, allowing for a more versatile setlist. They’re perfect for those who want a wider range of music styles and a more dynamic performance.

5-piece bands and upwards

Starting from around £1500, our larger line-ups can include everything from male and female vocalists to saxophonists, percussion, and horns for a high-energy, immersive performance. Our large party bands cater to a wide range of genres and are able to perform everything from classic hits to the latest chart-toppers.

No matter what your preference or budget, we’re committed to helping you find the perfect live band for your event.
