Do you have any guitarists that also sing?

If you’re after a guitarist who can also sing, then we have a selection of talented male & female vocalists who accompany themselves on guitar. The most common times of day, when our singer/guitarists are hired are for background music during a wedding ceremony and afterwards during the cocktail hour.

What equipment will the guitarist bring?

Most guitarists provide their own sound equipment, meaning they’ll need access to power at the venue. This typically comprises a small guitar amplifier with a small footprint. If the guitarist is also a vocalist, they will bring a small vocal PA and microphone setup. If you’d like the guitarist to perform where power isn’t available or if venue restrictions prevent amplified music, they can sometimes bring a battery-powered amplifier.

How much do Wedding Guitarists cost?

Acoustic guitarists vary in price, but you should expect to budget anywhere between £300-500 for a 2-hour booking. Additional travel expenses may be included in the quote depending on the venue location, leading to higher prices. Hiring a wedding guitarist to perform abroad is also possible, but this will incur additional expenses such as flights, transfers, food/drink, travel time, and accommodation.

As well as their solo offerings, our guitarists often work alongside other musicians to form duos, trios, and larger lineups. Depending on the act, you can expect prices to range between £500-1000+.

Our solo guitarists are often happy to travel wherever the work takes them, and if the venue is really far, they may ask that accommodation be provided.

If you’re planning on getting married outside the UK, we’re also happy to provide availability for events abroad.

Will the guitarist take song requests?

If you have a certain song in mind that you’d like a guitarist to perform, then most are happy to learn 1 or 2 songs per booking. As always, discussing this during the booking process is best to ensure the guitarist can accommodate your requirements. Our solo guitarists for hire are always happy to play your favourite songs and will do their very best to ensure your musical tastes are catered for.

The best wedding guitarists will also be happy to accept and play any requests on the day, providing they have the song in their repertoire.

How long does a guitarist perform?

You can expect most guitarists to offer 2 x 45-minute sets over a 3-hour period, but they are always happy to tailor their performance to suit your needs. Whether you need a guitarist for 1 hour or 3, our solo guitarists are always happy to quote to accommodate your needs. All quotes include an extra hour to account for setup and soundcheck. This ensures they are ready to go when required without the risk of any technical hiccups.
