We are excited to announce a new series of live jazz events taking place at The Lord Nelson, Oakham, beginning on Sunday 31st March. With Jazz, Tapas and Nibbles, the events are set to be a great success!

Fancy spending your Sunday afternoon listening to some fantastic live jazz and nibbling on some tasty tapas? Throw in a real ale or chilled bottle of beer and there you have a perfect lazy Sunday. We have teamed up with Oakham pub The Lord Nelson to make this happen!

The Music

The series will begin with jazz trio Amour du Jazz. Fronted by the wonderful jazz vocalist Shannon Reilly, with renowned jazz musicians Pat McCarthy on guitar and Warren Jolly on double bass, Amour du Jazz are an absolute joy to watch. Their combination of classic jazz and more modern numbers makes for an interesting and varied set, delivered with style and charisma.
