Niko is a professional classical and Spanish guitarist based in Yorkshire who has performed and written for theatre that has toured around the country.
Professional
Niko trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, graduating with first-class honours. He plays classical, Spanish and Latin guitar, drawing on Baroque repertoire, Spanish serenades and Latin waltzes to suit weddings, ceremonies and private events.
Experienced
His work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 6, and a composition project with Streetwise Opera and the BBC Concert Orchestra earned a five-star Guardian review and a Royal Philharmonic Society award shortlisting in 2024.
Bespoke
Programmes are tailored to each client, combining classical and contemporary pieces. Niko also composes bespoke pieces for special occasions. He’s self-contained with his own amplification and works well in historic or boutique venues.
