Description
South East-based 60s & 70s rock band Moonrider embrace authentic ‘dad rock’ while staying true to the era’s signature style and sound.
Dad Rock
Moonrider are a 60s & 70s rock experience with an insatiable appetite for ‘dad rock’. They wish to prove that old men in wigs are not the only ones covering the classics and deep cuts by Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Free, Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, Trower, Hendrix, Bowie and more.
Versatile
Depending on the budget, they can play as a four-piece, but they sound their fullest when adding an extra keyboard player. If you’re looking for a little slice of the 60s & 70s, when guitarists were gods and bands were religions, then place your trust in Moonrider to deliver the goods for your wedding or event.
70s Experience
Inspired by the mix of young and old rocking out on Broadway after a visit to Nashville, the lead guitarist returned to the UK ready to keep the spirit of 60s & 70s Rock alive. With their fresh take on these iconic decades, the spirit of Rock has never been in safer hands!

The event was super groovy, like a time machine back to the 70s. Great musicians, great music, great energy in the room.
I had a blast. The breadth of artists and songs covered was really impressive. For a 70s
rock night out nothing beats Moonrider. As a big Led Zeppelin fan I was amazed to hear
No Quarter live. The next best thing to a time machine.
It’s so rare to find 70s music done well. Moonrider played tune after tune after tune.
