Helix are an energetic five-piece party band based on the Brighton music scene, bringing years of collective experience and a genuine passion for getting people on the dance floor. All members are graduates of the prestigious Brighton Institute of Modern Music, and together they have accumulated an impressive wealth of gigging, writing, and performing experience, both as a group and individually, across a wide range of projects and collaborations.

Great time had by all, after much jingling and with many dates changes we finally got to meet these guys and gals, professional, approachable, adaptable. They played their sets like pros! Got the guests lively and managed to get lots of positive feedback as a result. Highly recommended and we mean HIGHLY!
Helix were brilliant at our wedding. We chose to book them as we thought they sounded loud on their samples and the repertoire looked suitable for our crowd. They reached out about a month before and made things easy to coordinate,
putting us at ease before the big day, even offering to amend their set list more for our tastes. On the day, Helix were really professional in set-up and they nailed the first dance performance before launching into their set. They worked
brilliantly as a 5 piece and kept the vibe going with smooth transitions between songs. They really performed the songs and built a connection with the audience. They had everyone dancing from young to old(er), certainly delivering on the loudness that we’d hoped for. I’d been a bit apprehensive in booking a band I had never seen/met before and if they’d actually live up to the promise from the website. As soon as they started I knew it would be great and we’ve had loads of feedback from guests that Helix were a great band and loads of fun. Thank you so much for everything!
An amazing band played for my 30th Birthday party and they were brilliant. Played a good range of songs and got everyone singing and dancing! I would highly recommend them for any event. They were so good I have booked them
again for my wedding next year. A very talented bunch of musicians and I can't wait to hear them play again.
Helix performed at our wedding last weekend and were amazing, their medleys meant the dance floor was never empty and all our guests sang (well shouted) along to every single banger. We’d hired speakers to use during our reception, but we couldn’t figure out how to work them, so the band kindly played music for our reception and after their sets had finished so the party was never quiet. His communication was great in the run up which meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the big day. We would recommend Helix for any wedding or event if you’re party animals like us!!
