The London Steel Band can rightly claim to represent the pinnacle of Steelpan music in the UK today. Led by 'Steelpan Ambassador', Terry Noel, the London Steel Band perform all over the UK and abroad for high ranking dignitaries and public alike.

GROUP HISTORY

Since its formation in September 1987 by Terry Noel, the Award Winning London Steel Band has provided opportunities for young people from varied social and racial backgrounds to develop musical skills, techniques and a wide repertoire including classical, modern, calypso, pop and jazz compositions.

Available Internationally

Travel is encouraged, with frequent performances in London, throughout the UK, Europe and further afield. These visits introduce audiences throughout to the world's music through the medium of instruments originating from Trinidad in the West Indies.
