Keith Flint - True Pioneer, Innovator and Legend

Published: 5 Mar 19, 03:12pm  |  Author: DG Music

We are so very sad to hear that Keith Flint was found dead at home yesterday morning, having taken his own life.

His band confirmed his death in a statement, remembering Flint as a "true pioneer, innovator and legend".

It emerged today that Flint achieve a personal best time of 21 minutes 22 seconds in a 5km park run in Chelmsford two days before his death – not usually the act of one tortured with suicidal thoughts and no doubt one of the reasons bandmate Liam Howlett stated: "I'm shell-shocked... angry, confused and heartbroken."

The Prodigy enjoyed five successive No1 albums in the UK charts from 1994 until 2009, followed by two more No1 albums in 2015 and 2018:

We would like to take time to remember and listen to this one of a kind, sensational musician and dancer extraordinaire:

  • Music For The Jilted Generation
  • The Fat Of The Land
  • Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned
  • Their Law - The Singles 1990-2005
  • Invaders Must Die
  • The Day Is My Enemy
  • No Tourists

One of their latest tracks: ‘Timebomb Zone’ from the album, ‘No Tourists’:

One of our faves:

‘No Good’ from the album, ‘Start The Dance’:
