This weekend revellers through the UK will be celebrating Ireland's Saint Patrick's Day which falls on Monday 17th of March. Here is a round up of the local public events where you can get in the spirit!

St Patrick's Day (sometimes know as The Feast of St Patrick) marks the death of Ireland's most well-know patron saint and has been celebrated since the 1600s. Since then it has become the most recognised patron saint's days in the UK, with more people turning out in England than on their own St George's Day.

This is largely due to the popluar Irish traditions of drinking, merriment and of course their wonderful music. At DG Music we have a number of great Irish and Celtic acts and they will be out in force over the coming weekend. Here is a list of the dates and locations, so that you can choose where you can get into the Celtic spirit and enjoy a few pints of the black stuff!
