Jive dance grew out of the earlier jitterbug and lindy-hop dances introduced to this country by GI’s in the 1940’s. The music for jive is little slower and more flowing than that of Rock and Roll. Rock and rollers preferring the more driving rhythms and anarchic music of the likes of Bill Bailey and Elvis Presley. 

Featuring powerful and charismatic vocalists with drums, bass, guitar and sometimes a brass section, this music is perfect for any event that wants to encourage a good time feel and dancing. The 1950's are brought to life by superb musicians in bands who  create an authentic 50's feel, building a srong rapport with their audience, performing with enregy and drive and wearing retro clothing.
