Daddy Longlegs Rock n Roll & Jive Bands

Daddy Longlegs are a 4 or 5 piece rock n roll and party band based in Leicester featuring lead vocals from Paul Dixon.

All band members have been involved in Rock and Roll, blues, R&B, ska and jazz for many years and collectively have thousands of gigs under their belts with their previous bands and have played at many types of venues from small bars to huge concert halls.

All the music is played live on a slapping double bass, authentic twanging guitars, swinging drums, roaring saxophone and rocking vocals and there's not a backing track sequencer or synthesizer in sight.

I just wanted you to pass on the message to Daddy Long Legs that they got absolutely rave reviews from all my guests last Saturday in Wing. Someone rang me up who had been walking down the street, and wanted to know who they are so they could book them! Every single person I have talked to said that they really made the party, and were so good both instrumentally and vocally. And looked the part! Please give them my thanks - I didn't really get to speak to them on the night, being far too busy having a ball and dancing the night away!

Tony and I would like to thank 'Daddy Longlegs' & Co who played at our Golden Wedding celebrations on 18th APril at Kettering Park Hotel. Just to let you know that Daddy Longlegs did a fantastic job on Sunday. They were very professional and managed to draw a good crowd. We thought the dancer, thrown in free, was brilliant. I was in the Street Art section of the event for some of the time they were on and some of the kids were singing along, which showed they have a wide appeal. Tell them thank you again and well done.
