Little Big Band (The) Pop & Rock Bands

The Little Big Band combines top class musicianship with the versatility to provide a repertoire stretching from swing and jazz through the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s to current chart hits. The Little Big Band are a perfect band for weddings and any event with an audience of a mixed ages. A good time for all is guaranteed!

Flexible Band
If you’re looking for a versatile band to give all of your guests a night to remember, then look no further than The Little Big Band. With classic hits from the ‘60s to the 21st century and the option of sophisticated Sinatra-style Swing, this hugely popular band of top-class professionals are guaranteed to fill the dance floor at your wedding, corporate event or party of any kind.

Varied Line-Up
Their line-up of female lead vocals, backing vocals, saxophones, two keyboards, bass guitar and drums creates a big sound but without a big price as all of this is covered by just five extremely talented musicians. In addition, if you’d like to set the scene with some stylish cool jazz at a drinks reception or during a meal then The Little Big Band trio of saxophone and/or vocals, piano and double bass will create the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests to relax and enjoy yourselves.

Band Leader
Anna Brooks (saxophonist and ex-musical director of the Drifters, whose music scoring credits include BBC’s Doctor Who and Torchwood and the films ‘Hoodwinked II’ and ‘Angus, Thongs…’) uses her sought-after expertise as a professional arranger to ensure the band plays your favourite songs just how you remember them, and if you would like a special song that is not already in their repertoire then she can offer you a tailor-made arrangement for a small additional fee.

Vast Experience
The Little Big Band have been established for 15 years and have honed their expertise at many of Britain’s top venues. As well as being graduates from some of the country’s top music colleges, their band members are all session musicians / recording artists who have toured worldwide. Between them they have worked with The Drifters, John Mayer, Peter Gabriel, Roy Wood, Katie Melua, Darren Day, Duncan Norvelle and Alvin Stardust.

Professional Production
The Little Big Band provides a high-quality PA and lighting system for your event, as well as background music before the performance and during their breaks at no extra charge - so no need for a DJ if budget is a consideration – and of course you will be partying to up to 3 x 45 minute sets of 100 percent live music. So for an unforgettable evening of high-quality music from Sinatra to the Scissor Sisters, Abba to Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin to Aerosmith, the Little Big Band has it covered.
