4tissimo String Quartets

4tissimo is one of the leading string quartets in the Midlands. After 12 years and 600 engagements, the original members still maintain their passion for this style of music and their enjoyment of playing with each other.

Central Location
4tissimo are based in the county of Leicestershire and are therefore superbly located for engagements across the Midlands and UK. The band is expertly managed by Maxine McGinnes who has a huge exeperience of performing at all types of event.

Varied Repertoire
The repertoire of 4tissimo is wide and varied. It consists of a wide range of popular classical music, such as Bach’s ‘Air on a G String’ and Handel’s ‘Arrival of the Queen of Sheba’. On the lighter side of things, Gershwin, Cole Porter and popular show tunes often sound very good. They have arrangements of pop songs, from Beatles to recent chart hits
