Amoroso String Quartet String Quartets

The Amoroso String Quartet is a professional string quartet based in Rutland available for hire for weddings, parties and corporate events.

Amoroso has an extensive repertoire comprising many favourite works from the classical music repertoire alongside tasteful arrangements of light pieces from theatre, film and popular music.

The group is lead by excellent violinist Sarah Thomas, who has huge experience at performing at functions and events. She is also a teacher of violin at Laxton Junior School, where she is Head of Strings.

The quartet is based in Rutland, the Heart of England and is therefore suitably located for engagements throughout the East Midlands and beyond. They regularly perform at events in the Rutland area including venues such as Barnsdale Lodge Hotel, Oakham Castle, Stapleford Park, Whitwell Hotel and Conference Centre and Hambleton Hall.
