With her foundations rooted in acoustic music, Abi’s songs are well crafted, accessible and full of warmth, reminiscent of the 60’s/ 70’s songwriters - Elton John, Sting, Lennon and McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan and Simon and Garfunkel. Add in Abi’s modern- day relevance, cynical grit, a few glances to Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow and Karine Polwart and then lace it all up with thought provoking, observational, truthful and socially aware lyrics. If that doesn’t get you hooked, her astounding voice certainly will.

Staunchly independent, Abi’s music is made without compromise and without barriers. She self- released both of her albums, “The Aftermath of ‘96” in 2006 and “Things We Should’ve Said” in March 2009. She recently completed a gruelling UK tour as Caffe Nero's Artist of the Month and released her first DVD "Abi Moore: Live at Lincoln Drill Hall" in November. The artists and bands she has supported reflect her diversity- from pop legends such as 10CC and Midge Ure to folk stars LAU, Jim Moray, Dave Swarbrick, the Coal Porters, Edwina Hayes and Jonatha Brooke.
