Acoustic pop acts usually comprise of at least one vocalist or more singing in harmony accompanied by acoustic guitars. Other instruments such as piano, double-bass, saxophone and percussion can also be added to make larger acoustic groups.

As well as being a great option for wedding ceremonies, acoustic pop is perfect as background music at private events for drinks receptions and dinners, offering a more contemporary option to those that don’t perhaps want to book the more traditional classical musicians or jazz band.

Acoustic pop artists often work out cheaper than bands as they have fewer musicians and are very popular at pubs and restaurants. They also take up less space than a band but please note that they will still require electricity for subtle amplification.
