Steve Banks graduated from Leeds College of Music and has worked as a solo artist and session guitarist with top musicians around the UK. Recent solo performances include interval sets for legends Maceo Parker, Courtney Pine and The Poole Lighthouse Theatre Jazz Guitar festival alongside Martin Taylor and John Etheridge. Solo performances offer a dynamic mix of Funk, Jazz, Blues and Soul. Sets can be designed to enhance a wide range of settings.
Steve also has a wide experience of teaching including Yamaha music schools and LMFL International Jazz Summer school. He is currently the guitar teacher for the BA (Hons) Popular Music Performance at Solent University.
