Background Jazz

Kate Kerrow is a jazz, indie and folk vocalist based in London. Kate is available for hire with either her jazz quartet, four piece folk/indie group 'Noon of Night', or for duo work.

Kate's jazz group 'Ginger's Dresses' have played in venues across the UK, with musician's credits including performance in many major London theatres and music venues - Belfast Opera House, Birmingham NEC, The Birmingham Rep, London Haymarket, 606 Club, Ronnie Scotts, The Purcell Rooms. As well as completing two No.1 tours, Kate has performed at some of the UK’s leading festivals, performing orginal work at Edinburgh 2008 and Glastonbury 2009.

'Noon of Night' brings together four fantastic musicians who cover some of the most loved melodies in contemporary folk and indie pop. Though only a foursome, these musicans play a variety of different instruments. Ukele, mandolin, accordion, guitar, piano, cello and bass all feature. This band have played in some of London's most popular acoustic venues, as well as touring across the UK. A more classical folk repetoire is also available for formal private or corporate functions.

Both groups offer duo options. Kate is also available for hire as a solo classical pianist for private or corporate functions.
