Funk and soul band Funk Soul Brother were chosen this year to perform for the first time at the Mid-Winterball held at Uppingham School. The event has been going for over 25 years and the band helped to make it one of the best yet!

Last Sunday the DG Music team was out in full force to show the public just what it is we do best! With a selection of our finest bands and musicians in tow, we rocked up to the beautiful setting of Barnsdale Lodge ready to provide a fantastic night of live music.

Now that we are about to embark upon the cold, long, winter months, it might be time to start focusing on our New Years Eve plans. What else will bring a smile to our frost bitten faces than the thought of parties, champagne, fireworks and of course the beginning of a fresh new year?

We're excited to announce the return of Little Radio to the Goldmark Gallery, Uppingham, on 27th January 2013. Having first played at the gallery over 5 years ago, Little Radio were a resounding success and we can't wait to see them again, for what promises to be a fantastic evening of live music.

Forget London fashion week, last night the glamorous Oakham folk attended Cavell's annual Fashion show for a night of beautiful clothes, inspiring designs and plenty of champagne, all in the name of charity. And of course, DG Music supplied the music for the event!

The DG Offices relocated to the beautiful surroundings of Rutland Water on Saturday, for a day of sunshine and music. We were joined by huge crowds, happy to soak up the last of the summer rays and listen to some fantastic bands!

On Saturday 15th September, the county will be coming together for the annual fun filled family day at Rutland Water. Beginning at 10am until 6pm, entry is free and good times are guaranteed!
