Vintage weddings are growing in popularity and more and more brides-to-be are asking for a band in-keeping with this style. After a little research, we have put together a few music suggestions that could be a fabulous addition to your vintage wedding.

The DG Offices relocated to the beautiful surroundings of Rutland Water on Saturday, for a day of sunshine and music. We were joined by huge crowds, happy to soak up the last of the summer rays and listen to some fantastic bands!

With the aim to bring, 'nu swing' to the Leeds Jazz music scene, Ally & The Cats have gone up and beyond this ambition, and now with DG Music will be bringing the swing all over the UK! This 6 to 16 piece hot swing rhythm and blues band are the newest addition to our site and we can't wait to start working with them!

On Saturday 15th September, the county will be coming together for the annual fun filled family day at Rutland Water. Beginning at 10am until 6pm, entry is free and good times are guaranteed!

For those planning a 1940s-themed event or just wanting that old-style swing feel, this band fits the bill. With line-ups from 8 piece to full big band and bags of experience, they recreate the classics from Glenn Miller, Jimmy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra and more.
