On Saturday 15th September, the county will be coming together for the annual fun filled family day at Rutland Water. Beginning at 10am until 6pm, entry is free and good times are guaranteed!

We are excited to announce that the Jessica Rabbit Band will be giving a concert this Saturday night at the Rutland County Museum. Oakham, get ready for a night of 1950s glamour!

This Brighton based, young and vibrant band, are the latest addition to DG Music. Labelling them-selves as having the, 'perfect balance between youth and experience,' New Sensation are a dynamic lot, with bundles of energy and talent.

One of DG Music's best and most popular bands, The Atlantics are due to play at The Rutland Beer Festival at The Grainstore in Oakham on Friday 24th of August.

DG Music's Ceilidh Band, Govannen, have just released a new album, Celtic Earth (released on Paradise Music) as a follow up to their award winning album Celtic Fire, which so far has sold over 10,000 copies worldwide!

Cambridge based band, King Swing, have now joined the DG Music roster! Clad in their sharp suits, they are here to bring back the golden jazz era, with their own unique twist. Think Sinatra, Ella, and a little bit of Stevie, and you have the exceptional sound of King Swing!

With a recent influx of harpists on our site, Katya is the latest addition, and what a wonderful addition she is! Having just returned from a 5 month Jazz residency in Boston, with the world's foremost electric harpist, Deborah Henson Conant, Katya is now available for weddings and functions across the UK.

Having begun her training in Wales, studied in London, and toured internationally, Sharron has recently relocated to Glasgow to bring her beautiful harp playing to events across Scotland. As a professional musician, with almost 20 years of experience as a function and orchestral harpist, Sharron is in great demand as both soloist and chamber musician.

Fresh out of the Manchester music scene, Soul Perception is one of the most versatile and exciting function bands around. With their cool sound, stylish attire, and high energy, this band is a fantastic addition to DG Music.

Newly added to our site is Soraya, our Leicester based harpist. The harp is one of the most romantic and elegant instruments around, perfectly matched with weddings, anniversary's and other special occasions. Soraya plays the most beautiful repertoire with wonderful sensitivity, we couldn't be more pleased to have her with us!
