DG Music Welcomes Soul Situation

Soul Situation’s purpose and goal is, “to get people onto that dance floor busting some moves and throwing some shapes,” and judging by their many testimonials this has never been a problem! This is mainly down to their brilliant repertoire, ranging from the 60s right up to the present day - who could resist hitting the dance floor when ‘I Will Survive’ is playing live? Or perhaps Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ for those who are loved up. The band also bring a little bit of ‘soul’ to rock and pop classics, like Queen, Kings of Leon and Beyonce. There is sure to be something for everyone!

Far from being a ‘run of the mill’ function band, Soul Situation have a uniqueness bought about by their professionalism and passion for music. Each member of the band has worked with many big artists, such as Mumford & Sons, The Maccabees and Adele, and have performed at huge venues like The O2 Arena and Glastonbury Festival, which means that when they come together the result is truly explosive! Could they perhaps be the musical equivalent of The A-Team? I think so.

But hiring Soul Situation comes with a warning. They are an energetic, enigmatic and dangerously spontaneous band; expect saxophone  players serenading guests on the dance floor, singers dueting with you and your friends, and band members bursting into freestyle rap.
