Entrance is free and the live music starts from 9.00pm. Greetham village landlord, Les Cooke, wants to make regular music nights the highlight of the weekend in this picturesque Rutland village.

Other acts booked include favourites such as The Atlantics, the Tomcats, Kings of Edam and the ever-popular Houndogs (£5 door fee for this one.)

The Sonny Monk Society Jazz Band were proud to be chosen as the main support act for Rod Stewart on five dates in early June 2011. The tour took them right across the UK at 20,000 seater stadium venues including Newbury Racecourse, Elland Road Stadium (Leeds), Liberty Stadium (Swansea), Pittodrie Stadium (Aberdeen) and Carrow Road Stadium (Norwich).

The band played two sets on the main stage prior to Rod going on with his band. Brian Stout, bass player in the band said, "It was a great experience and a pleasure to support Rod." Andrew Wyke in the production team said, "the boys did a fantastic job ... and were thoroughly professional throughout."

The Sonny Monk Society Jazz Band are based in Leicestershire and Rutland and have been performing in the area for nearly 30 years. They are a 6 piece band playing in the Traditional or Dixieland jazz style from New Orleans.

One of our top soprano soloists Laura B has been busy recently on a number of high profile projects. She has just finished recording vocals on the brand new Take That album to be released later this year and will feature on the tour too. So watch out for that!

Also, April was a busy month for Laura as she spent much of her time at Abbey Road studios in London recording the soundtrack for Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, which will be released in Cinemas later this month.

Top Rockabilly band The Houndogs have been featured on Sky 1's new show, 'Must Be The Music'. The guys impressed judges Dizzee Rascal, Jamie Cullum and Sharleen Spiteri by playing there self-penned song 'Rock My Life Away'.
